Prototype Development

We designed, built, and tested a small, two-stroke hybrid powertrain for use on Group 2 UAVs. This powertrain was fuel-injected and had self-starting capabilities. 

We helped a client with the design of a novel fishing lure for bluefin tuna. Each iteration was printed on our in-house printers in order to facilitate rapid testing. The latest version is manufactured out of foam that is formed inside 3D-printed molds. The lure will be mass produced soon, and interested parties should reach out for early access. 

We designed and fabricated a pneumatic check valve testing device to rapidly cycle the valves in order to categorize their performance. 

We worked with a team of mechanical engineering students to design and test a high-speed hydraulic valve. This valve used a piezoelectric actuator to achieve the high speeds and forces required.
